Appen is looking for qualified Swahili linguists to work as QA linguists on a Swahili Query Relevance annotation project, where the relevance of a set of queries is judged against written documents coming from a variety of sources.
The majority of the annotator's time will be spent checking documents and the corresponding Query Relevance annotations assigned by Swahili native speakers.
Guidelines for the project will be provided by Appen.
Location: Remote, Global
Hours: Commitment of approximately 10-15 hours per week. Please note that the work may be sporadic at times but we will do our best to give you fair warning of any changes to the workflow and timelines.
Length: Immediate start, until the end of August
- Must be a native speaker of Swahili, with excellent command of English
- Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics
- Must have access to a computer and a reliable Internet connection
- Participation is conditional to passing a screening test
