职位描述:

 

本地化项目经理的主要职责是为Appen的全球客户提供本地化及翻译服务,通过运用翻译技巧、语言能力、专业技能和注重细节的能力,使项目在质量、时间和预算方面达到客户要求。此外,本地化项目经理需要运用有效的沟通技巧来管理利益相关者的关系,以及Appen在中国和世界各地的语言专家团队。

 

 

职位要求: 

  • 具有2-5年语言服务供应商的项目管理经验或等同条件
  • 具有网站和软件本地化生命周期的管理经验,熟悉本地化流程中各个环节
  • 充分了解翻译和本地化概念及术语
  • 较强的技术及数据管理技能,熟悉CAT工具
  • 精通商务英语,书面语及口语均能无障碍交流
  • 翻译、本地化、语言学或语言研究专业或同等学历
  • 能够在一个不断变化的、快节奏的、高强度的工作环境下有效工作。
  • 日语流利并有与日本客户合作经验优先
  • 熟悉正则表达式、Bash脚本或编程技术优先

 

 

Position Summary:

The main responsibility of the Localisation Project Manager is to manage localisation projects for Appen’s clients. The LPM applies their knowledge of translation and linguistic phenomena, technical skills, and attention to detail, to manage projects to quality expectations, timelines, and budget. The LPM applies their communication skills to manage stakeholder relationships and teams of language specialists in China and around the world.

Job Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Project management experience (2-5 years) with a Language Service Provider, or equivalent
  • Experience with full website and software Localisation lifecycle, managing file formats and sourcing Desktop Publishing specialists
  • Solid understanding of translation and localisation concepts and terminology.
  • Strong technical and data management skills, and knowledge of CAT tools
  • Proficient in English for Business purposes
  • Degree in translation, localisation, linguistics, or language studies, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an environment characterised by constant change, and a fast, deadline-driven culture.

 

Preferred:

 

  • Familiarity with Japanese language and working with Japanese clients
  • Exposure to regular expressions, bash scripting, or programming skills an advantage
