  • Overview


    • Act as business partner to supervisors and managers in executing code of of conduct
    • Conduct end to end employee relations cases
    • Excellent ability to build networks within and across functions through proactive communication
    • Handle daily issues with stakeholders and vendors
    • Support the Sr HR Manager in day-to-day HR activities that requires high level decision making
    • Represent Appen liaising with DOLE and other vendors
    • Support Sr HR Manager in executing strategic programs for the site
    • Attend labor disputes at DOLE
    • Assist in the compliance of DOLE requirements
    • Support streamlining and execution of HR processes and policies for the site
    • Conduct TNA, and prepares training programs
    • Conduct non-technical and leadership training programs
    • Assist in the formulation of performance evaluation and score cards


    • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development or other degree but with equivalent experience


    REQUIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: at least 5 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, Asst HR Manager or HR Manager



    • At least 5 years experience as an HR Business Partner, Asst HR Manager, HR Manager role
    • At least 2 years experience directly managing a team of professional staff;
    • Extensive experience in Labor Relations, Employee Engagement, Training and Development;
    • Proven background (min. 2 years) as an HR Generalist in a global corporate or large scale company (employing minimum of 500) and fast paced working environment

    Skills and Competencies

    • Knowledge on Philippine Labour Laws;
    • Confident user of MS office suite;
    • Critical and evaluative thinker with high attention to details;
    • Excellent oral and written English communication skills;
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively, build and maintain rapport with internal stakeholders and vendors;
    • Sound Leadership skills;
    • Mature and able to handle confidential information;
    • Must be flexible with work schedule.
