We are seeking Dutch linguists for a project that is currently in progress and is expected to continue through at least March 2021, with a possibility of further work beyond that.
This project involves developing a style and grammar checker for Dutch word-processing using our client’s software. We have Dev (development) and QA (quality assurance) positions available.
Native Dutch speakers with strong knowledge of Dutch morphology and syntax, and high proficiency in English.
Additionally requires strong computational skills, particularly familiarity with regexes (regular expressions), an aptitude for learning to use new software, and a commitment of 25-40 hours/week. The main tasks consist of corpora-based research, specification development, rule implementation using client software, and bug fixing.
QA (Quality Assurance)
Computational, and requires a commitment of approximately 15 hours per week. The main tasks consist of test set development, performance testing, and bug reporting.
