Position Summary

The Global Recruiting Director is responsible for overseeing strategy and daily operations for a team of recruiting managers, recruiters and onboarding SMEs for the Global Business Unit. The Recruiting Director coordinates activities and strategy between the Delivery Operations teams and the larger recruiting organization. The Director orchestrates a team of Managers in the performance of their duties including but not limited to sourcing, recruiting, driving operational and platform improvements, ramping new projects, process development, report and data management, strategic planning, training, and team mentoring.



The role includes but is not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Driving recruiting strategy for all projects and task types. Understand customer needs and drive recruiting strategy through crowd availability and activity data
  • Keep the crowd active. An active crowd is a happy and healthy crowd.
  • Understanding global pay structures and markets.
  • Strategies on branding and creative sourcing to crowd members, tapping all channels
  • Handling of applicant activation queries and required characteristics to meet customer demands.
  • Design and update new recruiting procedures
  • Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance
  • Innovate, drive and report on recruiting metrics (Roster fills, costs, availability)
  • Recommend ways to improve the crowd experience and crowd employer brand
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 5 years sourcing, recruiting experience and 3 years managing a recruitment team
  • Experiences as a Recruiting Manager, or Recruitment Consultant
  • Knowledge of labor laws and exposure to Global Recruiting strategies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently
  • Experience with the use of tracking software and databases
  • Knowledge of social media and professional networks
  • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
