Overview

Position Summary

A Quality Auditor is an individual contributor but works closely with different stakeholders in the business. It plays an important role to advocate Quality and Accuracy aspects of our operational delivery. This role is also essential to ensure compliance to client and project requirements. An auditor is also responsible to identify non-conformities and to ensure we leverage on these findings to recommend better approaches that will lead to continuous improvement. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform ad hoc quality inspections to project workers to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide coaching and feedback as needed (or create coaching points for supervisors as applicable.
  • Assist Project leaders (Team Managers) in generating Quality insights from the overall delivery performance of the project.
  • Analyze and evaluate statistical reports to proactively identify and improve individual worker and team results.
  • Support the Operations and Service Excellence Team with other ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Meet all required audit count per worker per month to ensure reliable quality data for the project.
  • Meet all the client prescribed quality and accuracy goals for assigned Appen projects.
  • Lead the development of Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) based on audit insights.
  • Ensure the presence of published SWIs in all project tasks.
  • Identify training opportunities that can be added in the training program for new hires.

 

 Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Attention to details.
  • Excellent research skills and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Applications.
  • Can-do positive attitude and willingness to work on a team and collaborate across other teams.
  • Humility, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to develop collaborative relationships at all levels in the organization.

 

 Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge on Lean Six Sigma or Green Belt certified is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in process mapping.
