Position Summary

The HR Team Lead will oversee and manage full employment cycle of project workers, engagement activities, implementation and management of HRIS and other training, learning, and development of HR team members. HR supervisors not only manage their team , they also play an integral part in ensuring that all departments, management, and employees are working harmoniously.



  • May hire, train, and oversee training of HR team members and related staff.
  • May oversee scheduling, assignments, and the daily workflow of HR team members.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Address employee conflicts and complete investigations as required. They work with management to administer employee discipline or corrective action when needed. They also assess employee engagement and retention, and actively work to identify, analyze, and improve any problematic areas.
  • Work closely with payroll team to ensure project workers have a systematic method for reporting work hours and other payroll related reporting and data management
  • Assist in internal and external audits ensuring required documents are completed and properly filed, among other tasks.
  • Manages personnel or 201 file of project workers. Ensures completion and filed in an organized manner that is compliant to data privacy and security guidelines of the organization.
  • Prepare and send out relevant C&B-related reports (i.e. salary studies, insurance renewals, adjustments preparations, ceiling salaries, government reports, etc.)
  • Prepare employment contracts and ensure that confidential and special provisions are implemented
  • Participate in regular and adhoc meetings related to project workers’ employment activities
  • Prepares and sends out relevant and HR-related reports and notices (i.e. HR meeting minutes; compensation, employment and referral letters and certificates; COE; HR notices and Human Resources Action Notices; resignation and exit form reports; etc.)
  • Handles the overall monitoring of HR systems and related enhancements and projects
  • Oversees policy compliance and employee relations
  • Conducts disciplinary process based on Code of Conduct and PH Labor Law requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


 Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Leadership skills -in addition to managing their team, the HR Team Lead coach employees and management to uphold the company’s priorities and values. They must also think strategically to align HR strategy with business goals and provide support on special projects
  • Documentation development – HR Team Lead verify that all new employees complete the necessary paperwork to be in compliance with government and company mandates. They also ensure compliance with all national and local laws and regulations, including but not limited to mandatory posting updates, form requirements, and records
  • Communication skills -HR Team Lead is strong communicators and presenters. They can work with a variety of personality types while maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor. Because they handle confidential information and workplace disputes, they have an excellent sense of discretion and sensitivity
  • Self-management-HR Team Lead work with limited supervision, so these self-motivated individuals must take the initiative to stay current with company and government requirements for hiring, training, compensating, and dismissing employees
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of labor and employment laws related
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


 Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, or related field required; Master’s degree a plus.
  • At least three years HR TL or supervisory experience
  • HR Specialist or HR Generalist experience is required for at least 5 years
  • HRIS implementation and management experience for at least 3 years (ex Workday)
  • Preferably work as an HR for AI, Tech, Global industries or organization
  • HR certification preferred.
