Overview

Position Summary

The Business Development Specialist role will primarily act as a support to the US Account Manager working with our Global Accounts. He/she will perform research, prospecting, outreach and monitor their own account's sales pipeline. He/She will be required to setup 6 relevant meetings in a month and at least 2 qualified Opportunities from the assigned target accounts. Familiarity with Boolean Search, Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a must. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Will work closely with the assigned US - Account Managers, PH-BD Supervisor and PH-BD Global Team to share strategies and improve sales traction and KPIs.
  • Will perform prospecting, outreach, and general sales development functions to build a sales network within the targeted Global Accounts designated by Management.
  • Will also follow up on web inquiries, pre‐qualify leads, and develop relevant sales/project meetings to the point of handoff for the assigned Global Account Manager’s pitch.
  • Will be required to setup 6 relevant meetings in a month and at least 2 qualified Opportunities from the assigned target accounts.
  • Will research for strategies or ways to increase the Opportunities and Meetings set for the assigned target accounts.
  • Will still have general duties as an employee. From time to time, he/she may be required to do other admin tasks, undertake other duties within skills and experience.

 

 Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Lead generation skills using LinkedIn or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Can identify and qualify target personas.
  • Knowledgeable in using and creating Boolean Search.
  • Appointment setting skills and overcoming objections.
  • Great English communication and comprehension skills.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Performance: Complex problem-solving skills to search for steps that will lead to a successful outcome and reach the goal.
    • Grit: Perseverance skills to power through obstacles and complete the objective no matter how challenging the situation is especially in being part of Sales Department, rejections will always be around the corner.
    • Honesty: Integrity skills to be reliable and trustworthy especially for an individual contributor post.
    • Humility; Professional attitude to value communication, feedbacks and can foment cooperation between various parties within the organization.

 

 Qualifications and Experience

  • At least finished 2 years in college.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Lead Generation/Business Development/Sales role for foreign accounts.
