This role is an entry-level position and reports to either the HR team lead, or manager. Your main responsibilities as the HR Assistant will be to maintain and update employee records, process background checks globally, support HR processes and assist with Engagement Activities.
HR Assistant will act as the first port of call to employees and external partners for HR related queries. As a priority, HR Assistant will handle the background screening request for all Appen locations and assist on engagement activities for Cavite office.
A good understanding and knowledge of employment law and ensuring the HR department conforms to these is key. Assisting with any other administrative tasks as and when they arise may be necessary.

HR Assistant are expected to be qualified to degree level, in either HR, management or a business related field. Previous administrative experience is essential, but not necessarily within the HR sector. Being organised and able to prioritise is vital, as is having good communicative and relationship building skills, as you will work with various people across the whole business.
