Position Summary Appen’s Project Manager (PM) is responsible for monitoring and driving key performance metrics for a group of independent contractors (ICs) completing data structuring content annotation for client delivery. The PM works collaboratively with an Appen project team to meet all project and client requirements. The successful candidate will take part in a Chineses (Mandarin) transcription project. Key task is to listen to the in-tool recorded speech in comfortable secure office environment and to transcribe data in line with guidelines to be provided on online transcription platform.  Project Details: Hours required for the task: min. 35 -40 hours per week Task duration in weeks: approx. 12-20 weeks with a potential to extend.   Detailed Task - Users will listen to several audio clips about 3-30 minutes long and are tasked to transcribe and annotate the entire audio as per standard guidelines and set writing conventions. The candidate will be working with a team of in-house transcribers ensuring productivity and quality targets are met.
