Through grit, we take ownership, and we don’t give up.   Job Responsibilities: This role has global accountability and will               - Recommend and drive the enhancement process for the Identity Access Management (IAM) program. - Drive program design review working directly with customers and business owners on the integration requirements, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and user lifecycle into the IAM platform. - Maintain and assess operational requirements and service issues for improvement opportunities. - Develop strategic road maps for the Identity Management systems and program. - Develop enterprise-wide standards for identity and access management. - Consult with business units when implementing access levels for new systems. - Create and maintain architecture for IAM systems. - Prepare documentation for audits and acts as the point of contact for audit issues. - Analyzes and improve a process with a bias toward automation - Provides production support for Identity Management environment, may include after-hours on-call support - Perform additional duties as assigned.   Technology environment - Desktop / productivity services – Microsoft Windows and Apple, Chrome Book, Antivirus, MS Office365 - Cloud – AWS (ElasticBeanstalk, ALB, ECS, CloudFormation, CloudHealth, Route 53) - Server services – Linux (Debian, AWS Linux), Windows Server and Hyper V - Networking services – Ubiquity switches, ubiquity wireless access points, Sophos UTM - Directory services – Microsoft - SaaS – Atlassian, Workday, Salesforce - Storage services – DAS SATA – Samba and NFS access, Dell SAN, AWS (S3, EFS, EBS) - AV and Endpoint monitoring – Sophos, Tenable.io - MDM – iDaptive / Centrify, Google - Printer Services – Fuji Xerox  Skills and Qualities - Independent, motivated self-starter who can establish a course of action for self and others while driving initiatives to completion. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an environment characterized by constant change, ambiguous data and a fast-paced, deadline-driven culture. - Able to establish productive, co-operative relationships and demonstrate effective use of conflict resolution skills. - Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with high level attention to details. - Takes personal responsibility for continuous learning. - Proven analytical skills including the ability to proactively identify problems, gather information and set course of action. - Demonstrates strong IT skills combined with a good head for business. - Excellent communication skills including an ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing or verbally to a wide audience including clients and managers; effectively uses active listening skills. - Demonstrated commitment to Appen core values and company vision.   Education and Experience The successful candidate will have - Minimum 8 years of experience in information security required. - Demonstrated understanding of modern Identity & Access Management concepts and best practices required. - Demonstrated understanding of formulating strategies, alternatives, and recommendations in information security management required. - Experience with building and maintain large enterprise Identity Management deployments - 5 years - Experience with Identity Federation and Identity Lifecycle Services - 5 years - Engineering Knowledge of AD or other LDAP technologies – 5 years - “Devops”/Agile experience (highly preferred) - Experience with leading product evaluations, planning, gathering requirements, testing, recommending and implementing solutions - 2 years - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business or equivalent work or educational experience required. Advanced degree preferred. - Advanced skills in evaluating risk and communicating it in a fact-based manner. - Advanced conceptual, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - High level of attention to detail and accuracy. - Proficient verbal and written skills required to communicate in the English language effectively.
